About two weeks ago, I pulled my second Studer A820 headblock and sent it off for evaluation, relap, and scrape flutter roller cleaning/lubrication.

This week, my second headblock has been returned and installed. Last evening, I spent the entire time going through calibration adjustments for play and record at all speeds.
Today, I played tapes at 15ips and 30ips to enjoy the fruits of this project on my second A820 for an enjoyable afternoon.
