I have a Denon DP-62L turntable that has a lot of mods:
        1) Stock tonearm removed and replaced with an OEM Rega RB300
        2) The Rega RB300 has Incognito wiring, a Mitchell Technoweight, and is mounted to an acrylic armboard via a Riggle VTAF
        3) The main bearing on the DP-62L was upgraded to a ceramic/ruby bearing and all metal surfaces were machined to better than new specs (Applied Fidelity)
        4) The 62L was fully recapped in 2010
        5) Sorbothane has been applied under the plinth to offset any feedback/resonance issues
        6) The stock dust cover has sorbothane sheeting applied to the inside rear surface to mitigate acoustic feedback issues
        7) The stock platter mat has been replaced by a Herbies Way Excellent II mat
        8) The end of LP lifting function has been added to the RB-300 via a Q-Up lifter
        9) The 62L sat on a Gingko Cloud 11 isolation platform

My trusty old DP-62L is a much better turntable than what I bought back in 1983 but it now sits in storage waiting for someplace with more room. It was used daily up until 3 years ago when I replaced it with a VPI Prime. I hope to restore it to use as soon as I can.

I actively use two turnttables, main one for stereo, secondary one for mono records.
      Working...
