Record Doctor VI Cleaning Machine to Be Available in New White Finish

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, March 30, 2021 – Pangea Audio, developer and manufacturer of high performance, high-value audio accessories, announced today that the latest version of its popular Record Doctor cleaning machine, Record Doctor VI, will soon be available in a with a new white finish.

Originally developed and released to mark the 20th anniversary of the company’s first Record Doctor, the Record Doctor VI (SRP: $299.95) will be available with a high gloss white finish in a limited release, beginning April.

“Since its introduction less than two years ago, Record Doctor VI continues to be one of our most successful products,” said Steve Niemi, Director of Global Sales, Pangea Audio, LLC. “Occasionally, our customers ask for finish alternatives, especially white, so we’re offering a limited number of pieces to satisfy these requests.”

Record Doctor VI continues Pangea Audio’s tradition of offering an advanced audiophile-grade record cleaning system that performs up to the standards of products costing several times the price. Featuring the same vacuum motor and cleaning strip as expensive machines, the Record Doctor VI is hand-operated for greater control in addition to guaranteeing savings that are passed directly to the consumer.

Over 20 years in, Pangea Audio Distributing’s Record Doctor VI remains faithful to the original design, with a precision roller bearing to make records spin easily and a handy storage tank for the easy removal of spent record cleaning fluids. However, the VI includes several notable upgrades over the previous versions, featuring a motor that runs cooler and quieter than previous versions, a stain-resistant aluminum top, a larger turning knob for keeping fluids off the LP label, a newly designed deep-cleaning Clean Sweep fluid applicator brush, and now a choice of three finishes – carbon fiber vinyl, high gloss black, and high gloss white.

Like all Pangea Audio products, the Record Doctor VI is shipped in sturdy, eco-friendly, recyclable packaging, bypassing the messy and harmful Styrofoam used by much of the competition.

“The success of the Record Doctor VI is indicative of how music lovers are willing to commit to their love of listening to well-recorded music pressed on vinyl,” added Mr. Niemi. “We’re happy to reward their commitment with a new aesthetic alternative that remains the most efficient and cost-effective way for music lovers to show some love for their favorite vinyl and the gear they use to enjoy it.”

I used the older Record Doctor V for a few years and you can’t beat it for the price. The VI is better built and looks better.
My son has my old RD V now. It’s small size was essential for where he lives.

I think I reviewed the original Record Doctor. No frills but did the job.
