CHICAGO, IL (JANUARY 28+29, 2017) – Calling all music and technology aficionados. You are invited to listen to the finest audio equipment in the world! On January 28+29, 2017 in the private rooms of Chicago’s world-renowned Symphony Center at 220 S. Michigan Avenue, the Paragon Sight & Sound Fine Audio Show will present world-class high performance home audio products including amplifiers, loudspeakers, cables, audio stands, and playback gear. Free to attend, and open to the public on Saturday (10 am- 7 pm) and Sunday (11 am – 5 pm), one will discover the incredible technology and performance of the world’s top audio brands.
This event will cater to the consumer, bringing audio aficionados and manufacturers together to audition and learn more about the finest audio products on the market today. The Paragon Sight & Sound Fine Audio Show offers something for everyone – from the novice music fan to the skilled audio expert looking to enhance their listening experience with the latest products and technology. It sounds as though attendance was lower than they hoped, since they were promoting the free CD for the first 200 attendees each day.

Numbers ended up around 300 for the two days. Perhaps more importantly, the age was skewed much younger and there were far more women present than the typical high end demographics. To be sure, there was an established audiophile contingent as well. People were celebrating high end audio, not the market vagaries the naysayers are constantly harping on these days.
