Live is good, but 10 reels of unheard of studio tracks would have been even better.

Bob Marley is best heard live. The energy and assorted other interactions make the SQ secondary for me. Sure his studio stuff is pretty good but I tend to play the live music I have when I decide I need my fix.

I heard Ziggy live last summer and I would say the same about him - much better live than his recordings.

Hate to say it but no audio system will get that bass line like Reggae artists like to play it live! ❤️ Big and turn it up!

I was talking Live same songs vs. Studio NEW songs.

Also meant to include that I was referring to recordings of live performances as I am obviously too young to have seen him live! Even if the SQ is compromised a bit by the live performance I would take that over pristine studio recordings whatever the format.
        Working...
