Hi there
im new to this forum, but ive been into the audio hobby for a long time now.
I live in Harvard Mass with my wife and 6 yr old. Im fortunate to have a dedicated space in the basement - reasonable proportions, but with some challenges as well.
i listen to vinyl almost exclusively - mostly 20th C classical - Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Schoenberg etc and old jazz - a lot of it on Pablo.
ive been through my fair share of equipment of course, but im settling down now. My analog front end is a refurbished SP10 mk2 in a shot loaded marine ply base. The arm is an SME M2 12R, witb either a My Sonic Eminent GL, or a Decca Super Gold. Ive used a Herron VTPH for several years now. Previously was an Io.
Preamp is a Wyetech Opal feeding first version of the VTL MB450, driving Soundlab M1 PX, in a nearfield set up.
As i said, its mostly secomd jand, only the Herron was bought new. Cables are either Synergistic or Shunyata.
Anyway thats it for a brief intro - thabk you for having me, and looking forward to taking part,
cheers
Andy
