    Hello from California

    I was reading Stefano Bertoncello's blog and saw a mention of Myle's new blog/forum. I've been reading Myle's reviews and web articles for more years than I care to admit so I thought I'd give this new one a try. I'm located in silicon valley, about 40 miles south of San Francisco but have lived in both New York and California. When in New York I lived in the Westchester suburbs but work has me in the SF Bay Area these days.
    I tend towards high efficiency speakers these days with tube amplfiers, often single ended. I look forward to the evolution and growth of this new forum.

      Well I have horns but they're not set up right now. I used to run a biamped system with transmission lines below 500hz and some Edgarhorns above 500hz with TAD4002 drivers. Tubes on the horns and solid state on the TL with an electronic crossover. I miss this system but haven't had the time to get it set up properly - too busy at work. It's rather tweaky.
      Right now I have two systems. A small one with Reference 3a mm de capo i speakers running off of a Sun Audio VT-25 amplifier. And a bigger one in the living room with Horning Eufrodite speakers. These are Lowther based, but augmented with many woofer below and a tweeter above.
