I finally took the plunge and joined this exciting group. I'm looking forward to reading and sharing ideas and thoughts about music and equipment. I'm a professional musician, new reviewer for Positive Feedback and principal librarian of The Philadelphia Orchestra. My Dad was a TV and Radio repairman along with a CB operator in the old days and built his own hi-fi with a Fischer receiver and Garard turntable in a custom blonde mahogany cabinet. He would be laughing his ass off if he was alive today to hear me rave about the sound of tube gear driving big Maggie 20.7 panels and the musical sounds from rolling vintage tubes. He would also be amazed and pleased at the continued interest in LP. I have some of his old records but have added thousands of my own. Please feel free to contact me for a backstage tour if you come to the Kimmel Center, Carnegie Hall or any of the many other venues I travel to with the Philadelphia Orchestra perform.
