Thank you Myles. Well yes we are a small country (about the same pop as N.Y.C.) but we are a few caring about music and sound!

In my sparetime I´m an audio & music reviewer for swedish print magazine Hifi & Musik.
My tastes tend to be centered around my Nottingham turntable and I would say I listen to analogue most of the time.
The home system consists of:
Nottingham Analogue Space 294 + heavy platter / Ace Space 12" tonearm / Clearaudio Stradivari / Koetsu Black / Kiseki Purple Heart N.S.
ASR Mini Basis phonostage
Revox B77 R2R-tape
ATC SIA2-150 amplifier
Micromega CD2 transport
Simaudio Moon DAC
ProAc Respons 2.5 speakers
Nordost cables
Musical tastes are electronica, post-rock, post-punk, indie with a splash of Jazz and Classical

Greetings to you Per. Stockholm was a place where I spent a lot of time in the '90s- mainly for work, but on long projects, so I got to spend some leisure time there, and made some friends that i still stay in contact with today.
It would be nice to hear about the hi-fi and music scene in Sweden. You probably have access to equipment that we do not see in the States, and music culture, while international, and no longer local or regional given the Internet, may still be different for independent or emerging bands.
So, look forward to your posts.
And I'll share the one word I remember of Swedish- "Boston gerkhin"- a word for pickle-relish- when I was ordering hot dogs at that little hot dog stand at the kiosk behind the Grand Hotel, near the boulevard with all the fancy retail stores---
The old city there is quite beautiful....
