  • Greetings from Alabama

Good to find this excellent forum. Obviously many knowledgeable folks in these parts. I've noticed that the Southeast seems to have little in the way of audio enthusiasm, or am I wrong about this? Too many folks distracted by college football, perhaps?

Doing my part to keep good music alive and much vinyl spinning in this part of the country . . . .

    Jim,

Where are you in 'Bama? I am originally from Louisiana (Brooklyn now) and I know couple of audiophiles in the Heart of Dixie. There are a few NC audiophiles, N.O. has a club and an active scene and there's even a yearly show in Dallas that can be fun! Don't know if AXPONA plans on going back to Atlanta but had a good time there. I think you'd be surprised who's lurking in your area.

My best friend is from Abalama. His sister was the band director at Auburn, he and his brothers are 'Bama fans. Makes for an interesting barbeque event sometimes.
