  • Howdy from Long Island, NY

    Hello all,

I'm Fred A. from Long Island. Some of you may know me from other boards, but I just discovered this one today... seems like a cool little community growing here.

I'm a lifetime audio hobbyist with some of my earliest childhood memories being me watching impatiently as my father and his friends futzed around with hifi gear. I'm still very much a hobbyist, but also entered the industry as North American distributor for LampizatOr a few years back.

Look forward to getting to know you guys!

    Fred

    Hi Fred! Welcome to audionirvana!

Fred, everyone, is the US distributor for Lampizator as well as a diehard audiophile and I'm sure he can answer anyone's questions about Lukasz's digital products and electronics. Lampi has in a very short time, garnered a lot of great press here in the US and deservedly so! Mark, who has a pretty critical ear, was one of the first to review the Lampi DAC for PF and immediately loved the sound! Anyone attending Axpona this year should definitely check out the Lamp room as I'm sure there will be some new toys on hand!

And as the site continues to grow and its reputations spreads, we hope to have more and more manufacturers and distributors like Ralph, Fred, Leif and Brett (excuse me is I'm leaving anyone out)!

Thanks for the welcome and intro, Myles!

I look forward to spending some time here. I'm immediately impressed by the activity on this relatively new board. Great work!

        I have to ask.

Many times I‘m tempted to spend way more money than I should on high end audio. I try to follow common sense, but then a voice whispers in my ear,

        "Gopher it."

Is that you doing that Gopher?
