I like reading forums on the browser on my ipad - either Safari or Chrome. I notice that the pinch-to-zoom feature doesn't work for this forum. There are other forums on the web that have figured out how to allow zoom to work on ios devices. It would be great if that feature could be enabled for this new forum - it would allow those of us who now need reading glasses an easier time.
    Thanks,
    ---Gary

    Hi Gary,

Thanks for your input and understand your frustration!

Please bear with us as the mobile connectivity is not what we would like to have. What you are asking for really has nothing to do with the forum but the vbulletin software. I had to make a choice when I constructed audio nirvana. Go with vbulletin 4.2 or so and it's blah look, cumbersome features, or the newer, easier to use in so many ways, nicer looking 5.2. But the factor that really governed my choice is that vbulletin 4.2 is a dead platform. Vbulletin will no longer be updating the 4 series; where they are concentrating their efforts upon now is the 5 series. So please bear with us as we go through some growing pains and wait for vbulletin to modify their software. If they don't, we may have to make a decision to migrate the site to a different host that will allow for third party plugins like Tapatalk, etc.

Again thanks for your patience as I'm sure you will agree site has some additional nice features.

    Myles

      Myles,
I understand that any software is a set of compromises. I have not doubt that you're doing the best given the available choices. Just wanted to throw this out as another feature that would be nice to have when you get to it.
I would add that I am not a fan of Tapatalk or other apps that access the forum directly. I much prefer to read the forums as a conventional website through my tablet's browser. So I'd vote for that functionality over plugins.
      All the best.

Thanks for chasing this down and contacting the vbulletin people. I don't see any change in the behavior of the forum on my ios devices yet, but I look forward to the day when it is implemented.
          All the best.

I'll let everyone know because vBulletin will announce it as an update that needs to downloaded. Well not quite with us because one advantage of being in the clouds is that all updates are automatically made to our forum.
