When I first met Mike Medina, who developed the site's ad, he was a young, up and coming magazine designer at Hearst magazines. He developed the layouts and looks for many of Hearst's new publications. He also laid out my high-end audio magazine Ultimate Audio from '96-2001. We actually had one issue nominated for a design award; no we didn't win but I thought being a small magazine going up against the big boys was a real big feather in his and our hats!
Over the years, he left magazine and website design and now develops ads for many leading companies. I feel so lucky that we are still connected and went out of his way to do this ad!Myles B. Astor, PhD, Administrator
