Del and Woody, new release

Del McCoury is releasing a new album on the 15th of April. It consists of lyrics written by Woody Guthrie that were never set to music. Nora Guthrie chose lyrics out of the Woody Guthrie Archives to pass to Del to set to music in the style of Woodys roots. Del researched old music styles from Texas to get the style down properly.

As far as I know, this is the only such project of bringing new Guthrie lyrics to audience with period correct musical styling.
