Like printing money. There is a reason they keep reissuing the same records.

UHQR 0001 was Axis: Bold As Love. What was UHQR 0002 supposed to be? And what happened to it?

I just received Aqualung today, but won't be able to play it until tomorrow (getting a new cartridge). I did open it though and my copy did not include the notice for Kind Of Blue.

Regarding Kind Of Blue, of course I will get it. But not sure if I would get both 33 and 45 versions... Since I have the a tape and good 33 version, I'll probably go for the 45.

will AS use the Classic Records 33/45 metal work, once done by B.Grundman or be a total new remastering job?

Chad did say he got all of the metal work when he bought out Classic Records, its a reasonable deduction to think they will use said metal work.

The new Aqualung package includes a "Technical Specifications Manual" which includes a description of improved metalwork (plating) technology. I would assume the new UHQR's would have this latest process which takes advantage of Chad's vertically integrated manufacturing business.

I hope they use the older metal work. I think that was the last time they used the original masters. Bernie said the tape was just fine. I may go for the 45, but I have the classic 33+45. I have the Sony mono from the mix down and it’s very nice.

I was not impressed by the MOFI box eg. have to assume in part due to using the backup tape.

I am pretty sure I will order the UHQR.
