    Another "miss" from the good folks over at RS Mag.

    How can this list not include Chet Atkins?

      What was interesting were the jumps in position from the first list. Can't figure that one out.

      My friend who is a jazz guitarist thinks Clapton is way overrated.

        I have no idea how they calculated those position changes, although I know that over time and as time progresses that happens.

        I agree with your friend about EC and I'm saying that as a huge EC fan. I think he should certainly be ranked in the top 10 as he's extremely versatile. He can play rock, blues and jazz and has certainly given us many great examples of them.

            Fripp Steve Howe and Zappa should be higher up on the list. Jack White and Kurt Cobain should be much lower, or possibly not even on the list. No Steve Hackett? Prog rockers don't get a lot of respect.
