So I'm sitting with my morning cup, put on my cans, go to Tidal classical and up comes an "Age of Enlightenment" recording with this kid and I am shocked by the level of the performance. I thought maybe it's not a kid but a young woman with a close cropped haircut. I google his name and yes, he's a he and 13. Trust me, this stuff ain't easy to sing phrasing and breathing is difficult and voice flexibility is paramount. He's more than capable and in tune too. Level of musicianship is astounding at this age.
