Finally and a bit remiss of me. The Australian Helen Reddy passed away recently.. Her anthem song “I am Women” taken up by the feminist movement of the 70s. She was also heavily involved in the movement. Perhaps overlooked now, but I believe she was the first Australian to hit the charts in the US.

Allan Holdsworth - Road Games. An excellent EP (only about 25 minutes total over six tracks). Holdsworth is on fine form here, and it's always fun to hear Chad Wackerman on drums. I remember Jeff Berlin's name as the bass player on Bill Bruford's early solo LPs, now I need to hear more of the records he played on, too.

Depeche Mode – Music For The Masses - original Mute 1987 UK release, MPO pressing. still one of the most innovative dark synth albums ever - the sound scaping Andrew Wilder and David Bascombe got on this is incredible.
