  • Various ‎– Factory Communications 1978-92 - wonderful 8LP box set featuring a carefully selected mix of Factory artists - including Joy Division, New Order, Duritti Column, OMD, Section 25, A Certain Ratio, Cabaret Voltaire, Electronic, Happy Monday's and a whole lot more - cheap as chips and sounds excellent. 5 stars

I found it on Discogs. I managed to get pressing # 1446 and my copy is great other than the tiniest bit of low level grunge on side 1 that might clean up with a scrub. I'm very pleased. Only beef is I wish they were using a heavier gauge stock for their covers. Resonance covers are quite flimsy.

Ah, Discogs! Made a few good snags myself there, lately. Glad you got a great copy. Thanks, both y'all.

On the second play through the grunge was gone so I managed to get a very clean copy.

Shouldn't the Conductor be Fritz Reiner. I was a huge Carl Reiner fanboy but I don't think he ever conducted The Chicago Symphony.

That's a really interesting pairing. I'm guessing that Tete tones it down a little as he's usually a very dynamic player pushing the envelope & Ben is usually pretty laid back. Thanks for the heads up.
