      • Fabulous recording bought back in the mid-80s and keeps sounding better and better with every improvement to the system. Think it will go back into the reference recordings for reviewing rotation!

Just got my copy today but won't be able to play it until tomorrow. How does your copy sound and how does it compare to other pressings I would assume you have?

Sounds pretty damned good IMO. Aqualung will never be the best recorded album in history, but this might be the best sounding version. Sounds better for sure than my original MoFi (which I do think sounds excellent). And the pressing is outstanding. DEAD quiet and perfectly flat.

                          • Just received the new Jethro Tull Aqualung UHQR and a new Ortofon MC Anna Diamond phono cartridge. So, I mounted the Anna on my VPI HW-40 direct drive table and the first album I played was the UHQR. Sounds great.

                            • Dead Can Dance ‎– Dionysus - definitely audiophile approved DCD sounding quite tasty. funny its probably musically their weakest album, but its still enjoyable.
