Vivaldi - Venetian Concertos (Pro Arte PAL-1030). Most of the Pro Arte LPs I have were licensed from the SEON label, but this one was license from Deutsche Harmonia Mundi. This is a wonderful album in every regard - music, performance and sound.

Antonin Dvorak : Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" - Symphonic Variations Marin Alsop Cond. (NAXOS 8.570714, Qobuz 24/96). What can I say, this has been my favorite symphony ever since my mom bought me a copy on LP (Ormandy / Philadelphia) when I was about nine years old. Though I usually stick with Kubelik / BPO on DG, I thought I'd look through Qobuz for some other good performances. Found this one referenced in this article from classical-music.com (https://www.classical-music.com/feat...the-new-world/). Excellent and very energetic performance.

Currently enjoying Emmet Cohen, "Future Stride", streaming Qobuz, 24/96. Listening to this with some Herradura Ultra Tequila Anejo.

Ready to take a break from streaming and listen to some vinyl. Just read Michael Fremer's picks of R2DF 2022 and thought I'd put on Analogue Productions issue of Kenny Dorham's, "Quiet Kenny". Superb sound. Smugmug is slowly processing tonight. Pic later.

Dry Cleaning - New Long Leg (Qobuz 24/96). Saw this mentioned in Jim Austin's "As We See It" column in Stereophile. If Phil Brett (another Listener alumni) recommends something, I'll give it a listen. Great album. I hear hints of Gang of Four and early Jonathan Richman here, but just a hint. Might have to order the LP.

Santana – Abraxas - 2020 reissue remastered by none other than Kevin Gray. Not that you can tell from anything on the cover or record, except his [email protected] logo in the runout groove. No need to spend stupid money on mofi pressings - this sound magnificent and analog.
