        • More classic rock. This is a 1972 pressing in surprisingly good condition considering it's 48 years old, but the sound quality is a little dated. Compared to some of the latest reissues, it is a little compressed and not as dynamic as I would like. However, I love the music. I’ve wanted a better pressing for some time now, but it occurs to me that it will have it’s 50th year anniversary in two years so maybe someone will do a killer reissue. Some of the latest reissues such as Music Matters Jazz with their super quiet SRX vinyl are just mind blowing good with sound quality approaching tape in my opinion.

Dre, thanks for your comparison on the ERC thread. Makes me happy I've got the APJ 008 since I can't afford the ERC even if it wasn't sold out.

                      • I’m subscribed to the AS second series of RCA Living Stereo reissues. Unfortunately there are very few excellent sounding titles IMO but this one is one of them. Great playing and recording. It is comparable to the Wilson Audiophile exceptional Sonatas for violin and piano.

Totally agree. A real sleeper. The other must-have is LSC 2620 with Rubinstein and Szeryng doing Beethoven and Brahms! One of those records that combines great sound with sterling musicianship.
