    What do you think of the record reviews of the Great Arthur Salvatore?

    Are his record reviews worth a damn? BTW, I see he now fields phone calls for $50 minimum....

      I'll say one thing, that guy isn't short on opinions. His hardware reviews are mindbending. I have a few LPs in his "Divinity" list. Mostly Japanese direct discs of questionable music,

          I don't know him personally, I would imagine he's an enthusiast like the rest of us but with a larger ego? IMO, he knows good sounding recordings I have many of the records on his list, most are scarce and pricey.

                Not sure but he recommended tracking the Dynavector at 2.5 gm (or was it 2.7 g?). Him and HP were the only ones....

                  He did? I tried the HP VTF recommendation. In a word....disaster. HP's list however is something else. Fantastic batting average.

                  I could never connect with AS' stuff. IMO just too incoherent asI could never really follow a timeline. So hard to relate when things are presented that way.
