Very cool. Have to check because I don't remember receiving an email that mine were shipped.

Did you get the earlier Witches Brew from Classic? (Maybe my memory is failing but I thought Chad had put it out a year or so ago at 45 rpm but I'll be damned if I can find the copy.)

The original RCA release and Arnold's Tam O'Shanter has been a reference cut for me for 35 years. I also introduced HP to the album.

Myles, I was the first person to subscribe to this new series, at least that's what Karen at AS told me. I subscribed the following business day after you announced its availability on one of the forums. ;-) But I would've thought they would go by subscription number (I'm #72, same as the previous RCA sub).

Anyway, you should be getting yours soon...

And to answer your question, yes, I have the CR Reissue - 33 and 45rpm s/s version. :-)

Which pressing is it, Mark? I bid and won on a 1s/1s or 1s/3s. Said it was NM but turned out to be VG at best. I returned it. :-(

I will have to find it and look, but I think it is a 1s/2s.

I missed this subscription. Looking forward to impressions vs CR versions. I may have to buy a few of these re-issues. They did such a good job on the RCA series which I did subscribe for. Imo the quality record RCA re-issues are for the most part subjectively better than CR 33...especially from a pressing (quiet) standpoint. I still think the 45 rpm classic record's titles are the one's to have if you have a choice of one over the other. In the end, it's best to just have both and call it a day.

Eventually you have to prune the herd!
