    That's really sad news....was not aware of this. Many thanks for sharing. Thankfully I had managed to see him live once in Italy and that concert still remains my fav jazz concert of all time.

        It’s often hard to tell whether or not people can see articles. Many sites allow viewing of x amount of free articles a month.

        It also happens that the Times music reviewers are among the most respected critics in the industry.
