I don't know of a more emotive piece of music other than Barber's Adagio for Strings. Heard it performed live by the NY Phil in 1998 at the then Avery Fisher Hall. My wife and I were brought to tears. What a moving piece. A solemn homage to the victims and survivors of Orlando. Prayers to those affected by this senseless tragedy.

One can't even begin to imagine what the victim's relatives are going through. An absolutely meaningless tragedy. Thanks for the post Allen!Myles B. Astor, PhD, Administrator
