  • Dead Can Dance - In Concert (3LP Boxset)

Recorded during their Anastasis tour, mastered and pressed at Optimal on the [PIAS} Recording label, this is one stunning pressing. Everything from the packaging to the vinyl is first-rate, so I would consider this as a must-own title for DCD fans. It's OOP, but copies can be found....although the price has risen quite a bit from day of release in 2013. It was $39.99 CDN when first released, but expect to pay $100+ today for a used copy. Sealed copies will obviously go for more.

Does anyone remember the Glenn Hammett's DCD pieces in Audio Adventure magazine? He was way ahead of his time writing about DCD when no one really knew who they were! I think all my old AA magazines are in storage but if I ever get up there, will try and find the and copy some of the articles.

Labrynith is still my audiophile fave!

I like Dead Can't Dance music but cannot see myself going to a concert by them. Am I alone here in this thought?

It might be like going to an audio show and wondering what you are going to see there with regards to the people in attendance. Usually at audio shows it's a bunch of old dudes showing half a foot of ass crack.

I know you were. I could be wrong, but I think it was part of a RSD promotion.

Yes, I have it. It's gorgeous. I love how some of these non-audiophile pressings have audiophile sound. Makes you wonder why this can't happen more often.

I was thinking the same thing and I've been a fan since their days at 4AD.

Mark expect to see a LOT of Goths. Goths usually don't smell bad and their clothing is butt crack proof

Huh, I have the live in concert double album that was released on 4AD a long time ago, it is great, I don't think I ever saw this one, John.
