Embarrassingly, I have about a dozen unopened FIM CDs sitting here. At least Heidi dusted all my CDs off last week. (Jack!)

I did have two on my list though!

Do all of you play your CDs in an actual physical disk player? All my CDs are immediately ripped into my server (as FLAC files) for playback. I haven't had my Marantz SA8001 plugged in for about two years. I appreciate how every improvement in digital playback system makes those CD files sound better and better. Still much prefer my LPs, but files from CD are quite enjoyable in my system now.

I'll have a list of some of my best sounding ones soon.

Yes, I play my CDs on my big system. I have ripped my favorite 6700 songs from about 700 CDs to my iTunes in Lossless which I can convert to AIFF - I play those on my iPod while I'm reading through the TV system, through speakers out on the patio for cocktails and parties, at the gym or while travelling.

I'm lazy and either play CDs on a player or server. And yes, the RBCDs sound better ripped in DSD to the server.
