I got out of MCH and HT some years ago, but I still do watch them and enjoy them with less than stellar sound. I have about 60 Blu-ray concerts and the ones I enjoy the most are:

Yeah, but at least the cream is in high def. The hell freezes over is in very dated standard def, the SD images are clean but very soft.

There were so many unique performances at Woodstock...it reminds of Easy Rider. Its a Cultural Icon of a movie...does the sound quality justify going to blu-ray?

I have three systems. A main system in the living room, a second system on the PC in the beroom, and the HT system in the bedroom. The maggies are on the main system in the living room and there is no HT in there only music. For HT, I use 3 polk LSi9 monitors across the front and a small pair of wharfdales in the rear. I use a Harman kardon rcvr for HT.
