  • Free digital album with concert ticket

Canadian alt-country band Blue Rodeo are giving every ticket-holder a download code for their new album. It'll likely be a 256mbps or 320mbps MP3 code, but nonetheless it's a novel idea (at least to me).

    Is this already being done?

I saw Paul Simon last summer and ticketholders were sent his new CD. The concert was terrific but unfortunately I thought the new CD sucked.

Well, at least you wont have to put up with any more of that. Simon is retiring from music.
