A bit off topic but it's MTV of all of the MTV unplugged for sound quality what is anyone's top ten. I have a bunch for me so far it's nervana unplugged a really clean sound love it. Anyone ???analog stuff.

Here's a list of all the artists appearing on MTV's Unplugged Series. Obviously not all the shows were commercially released. How many of those shows would you have liked to have in your record collection? And again, not all on LP.
Rob mentioned AIC but it wasn't until recently that saw their MTV Unplugged performance on LP. Was the AIC show released on LP back then or just CD? Still need to pick that album up as Alice in Chains is one of my favorite groups.Myles B. Astor, PhD, Administrator

I don't think the AIC Unplugged was released on vinyl originally. But both the DVD and CD sound very good given the formats. And what a performance. My favorite versions of many AIC tunes. And I too really dig AIC.TAPE: Studer A807, A810; Revox B77 MkII; Technics RS-1700; Pioneer RT-707, RT-909

I'm a big fan of the MTV Unplugged albums, but do wish more of them were available on vinyl. I find the vinyl quality of most of them to be fairly consistent, with a few ups and downs.
