    • Father John Misty ‎– I Love You, Honeybear. 2015 sub pop - 2lp cut @ 45rpm - my first Misty album - pretty good - reminds me of John Grant.

these third man remasters and reissues are superb - easily better sounding than my original XL pressings. These are real and in the room - pressings excellent as well - especially for United - proves they can pres quality vinyl if they really want to.

                  • Like listening to an early to mid sixties juke box, at a diner, with the same poor quality sound. Three records of the hits from back then. I got this record from my Dad's collection when he passed. The name Mary must refer to my grandmother, so I'm assuming this one belonged to her. Like going back to my childhood. I'll see how many songs I can listen to. There are around 35 in total.

That massive sound stage might have to do with phase anomalies. I noticed that when I recently played a quad disk.

Maybe but don’t notice that say with the classical EMI quad releases. Do hear maybe some other artifacts though.
