      • Chicago based McLuhan was a one and done band that cut this out of left field gem in 1971. This is brass led prog rock. They throw in the kitchen sink - spoken word and sound effects crop up and the music keeps changing directions throughout. A touch of Chicago here, some Zappa there and even some King Crimson for good measure. Exceptional production from Bruce Swedien ties it all together. A must own.

Thanks! The order developed into a flow while I first was enjoying the Cowboy Junkies doing their rendition of Sweet Jane. Sweet Jane was naturally a follow-up on the Lou Reed record with other goodies, and also Sweet Jane was on the Mott the Hoople record with All the Young Dudes. Ian Hunter's voice tone led me to the finish up with Changes One Bowie - which is such a great record!

Jimmy Hendrix -Axis Bold as Love - very good 2010 re-issue. Nice to compare Jimi's original "Little Wing" to Stevie Ray Vaughan's version.

Tim Finn - Before & After- Solid Solo release from 1993

Soccer Mommy- Clean - Late 2018 release that is surprisingly good. Alt rock that is slightly indy. Impressed the local LP/head shoppe employee with this purchase and the fact that I actually had a turntable.
