Tango is also my favorite Fleetwood Mac LP. Got it out now along with some Cars. Thanks!

        JCO,
The Legacy reissue of the Nilsson LP has to be heard. We had an audition of several LPs at a friends audio store some months ago. The subject of the exercise was the new Sgt Peppers pressing vs the MoFI UHQR but I brought the Legacy reissue of Nilsson Shmilsson. The people there ordered the new Legacy reissue after hearing 30 seconds of the LP.

Two of the people at the store were big fans of the Nilsson LP and could not order the Legacy LP fast enough.

No BS...it really is that much better than the original.

        Ed

        Interesting have the original somewhere.

    • 2nd album from German fusion ensemble. A bit like passport and Aera. Germany had a lot of these bands in the late 70s/early 80s. I love this stuff.

I bought this when it first came out, about 40 yrs ago. Good recording. Always wondeted why they chose to do Foreigner 2, instead of Foreighner 1 which is a better album musically. Well after 40 years, mfsl finally reissued Foreigner 1 on LP but it sucks because the first recording is lame compared tp the second album...

I agree, this album sounds better for sure.

        • Deerhunter ‎– Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared? - superb album.
My first copy had ticks and crackles all through side one. Not what I expect from Optimal.
Just received a replacement copy and the pressing is really nice with no ticks or pops.
don't give up - just ask for another copy.

I really like it. Top 3? Not sure, as he really didn't put out any duds that I can think of. This one's really a pleasure all the way through.

Agreed. Try Benson's "Beyond The Blue Horizon". The opening track, "So What" is killer good guitar work and fabulous drumming from Jack Dejohnette.

ID:	118735 Spiritual jazz from a different direction. Jamie Saft Quartet draws influence from Kabbalah which is the study of Jewish mysticism. On Hidden Corners Saft includes legendary sax and flautist Dave Liebman, Bradley Christopher Jones on bass, and Hamid Drake on drums. Another great sounding exploration.
