Probably my favorite band during my college years. Saw them in concert six times from 1975 to 1979 while I was in Rochester, including once at the Eastman Theater with the Rochester Philharmonic. Had early pressings of both these albums autographed by the band. All those were stolen, so it's been a many year search for mint replacements. These are in okay shape. They deserved more fame than they achieved.

            • Andrew was a genius in sound and dance music in general. Spinning this now, as it is a Masterpiece. RIP Andrew Weatherall.

I see by your sig you have 7 tape decks? Why not sell a few and upgrade your phono? Or is it one primary deck and six backups?

Well, I have 3 systems, so it’s more like 3 primaries and 4 backups 😜 But if I wanted to upgrade my phone I certainly could. I’d have to spend a lot though...already using a $3K phono pre with a $5K cartridge...and I have the Denon on purpose...

well I know the value of backups, I have no working tape deck now since my Teac went pop and let the smoke out of one of the caps....
