Side two is da bomb! Classic Records reissue. Original was Dynadistortion so know the CR has to be better in his case. With Herbie Hancock on piano to boot!

I love that album. Same engineer on this as well as the Dean Martin. Is this the 33 or 45 rpm?

This is the 45RPM pressing. I usually go for the 45RPM if available...

I had a boyhood crush on JL when she played the 'hot' nurse on Adam 12. I had no idea at the time id be listening to her records all those years latter.

Spiritchaser for some reason gets better every time throw it on the table. "Song of the Stars" is amazing! Some real low end here too.

ID:	63045 Originally His Master's Voice CSD 1499. I can't find much info on the CSD stereo series...only ASD. In any event, this 300 limited run by ERC is sublime. $390 USD depending on exchange rates. The going price for this LP (if you can ever find one ) is $1500-$2000 according to the eBay auction history from popsike.com

Christian do you know whether ERC ups the price on their records over time, as the number available goes lower?
The Du Pre album is now ~ $715 - I don't know that the exchange rate has changed that much.

I was looking on the ERC site the other night. I believe that they must increase the price over time as the numbers decrease, especially if they don’t sell out...

                  Tima,

I do believe they raise prices once the 300 pressing allotment starts to dwindle.

                    Angel 4XS-34750 1977

Vivaldi's The Four Seasons performed by the The New Koto Ensemble of Tokyo, five musicians playing Kotos, a Japanese instrument that's kinda like a zither. The translation from bowed strings to the plucked Koto was challenging; the Koto players had to change bridge positions on the fly. This one sat in one of my overflow bin for years. After cleaning on my DIY RCM the sound is tic-free and remarkably clear with distinct instrument positions and nice depth. Tonality is such that this is an occasion piece, not in frequent rotation. HP used to natter on about this record and now I understand why.
