I've been getting more and more local work and find there are a lot of very promising jazz artists in the Pacific Northwest. One notable collection is the Peace House Sessions. A client of mine, Chance Hayden, invites local artists to play/record at his studio/home. It's been a blast doing the mastering for them.

Chance Hayden presents Peace House Sessions, an ongoing live music series featuring guest artists.

Didn't see Kamasi Washington in that article... His debut album, "Epic", is exactly what the title says. 3 LPs worth, and a complete trip through the history of jazz, from modal to spiritual to hard bop. Incredible stuff!
