To paraphrase:
Gone are the days where scarcity caused tapeheads grabbed any old tape. Tapeheads are because of the abundance of new releases getting far pickier in what they buy and are opting for the best sound/performance available. Wow...Binaural recording. Microphones spaced seven inches to a foot apart with using two classic U47 mics.
on these mics, the number signifies the year manufactured by Telefunken. The U47 and the U50 are very priceless units to have now. Plus Frank Sinatra loved his U47 while recording at Capitol.Comment
