I'll have to pick up the 2nd album, one of my all time favorites, but I'll wait to hear from you which is better between the ORG and Acoustic Sounds release!

Unless one is a huge fan, the pricing on this is a bit much if you ask me. I'll pass.

I already have three of the four albums in good-sounding pressings, so this one is an unlikely purchase for me too.

That said, famous last words . . .

BTW, I agree with Johnny that the pricing is a wee bit steep.

8 LPs at 45 RPM in a box set for $265 is not outrageous. The 7 1/2" 4 track tape of BS&T is outrageously good even if a bit noisy.

I agree. 4 x $35 each plus the packaging and insert? Two LP, 45 rpm albums are going for $60 each so that without anything else is $240. But I understand it's a bit of money too. Just that Chad isn't ripping people off and he thought about his customers in offering a 33 rpm version. I don't think,he did that for the SRV box set or Doors.

When you break it down like that, maybe the price isn't as outrageous as I originally thought, It's still a bit of coin, though. At least for me!
