  • Who Tamed The Double Neck Guitar?

Of course Don Felder’s solo on the Eagles’ Hotel California being perhaps the most famous rock solo.
Half six string, half something else, part curiosity and entirely awesome. Here's a look at the concept's past and present.

When I think of a double-neck, I think of Rush. I’ve seen Lee and Lifeson play double necks live and it’s something. I’ve also seen Bumblefoot and Billy Sheehan play very unique double necks in Sons of Apollo.

    Unquestionably cool. And quite practical!

I don't know who tamed the double-neck guitar, but I know who tamed the guit-steel.
