  • Paul McCartney Archive Collection

While I would have loved to see Paul's catalogue reissued AAA, the 2 reissues I have (McCartney & Band On The Run) sound very nice and are good examples that some digital processing should not be a deterrent for purchase. Comparing both to my originals there is a lack of naturalness and the production seems somewhat forced and tipped up, but not unacceptably so. The pressings themselves are super quiet and it's a pleasure to have accompanying bonus discs.

Personally I find the albums I have purchased so far good enough to forego seeking out original UK pressings. I think I'll add the Archive Collections reissues of RAM and Venus and Mars to my collection in the next while.

Is the McCartney Archive collection a complete reissue program of every one of Pauls albums over the years including wings?
