  • George, John, Paul or Ringo

Together they were the best and most successful band in the universe (well, for some anyway), but individually they also created some stellar music that furthered their careers. Which of these former MopTops had the greatest impact on you during their solo careers?

While I've had some changing preferences, because all of their music is so different and sometimes I just want another musical flavour, I tend to be more of a Paul fan. I unfortunately (embarrassingly perhaps) do not own any of Ringo's albums, but am somewhat familiar with his output. BTW...feel free to recommend some of Ringo's albums so I can give him his proper due.

I tend to favor Pauls solo work the most although the other three had some good stuff too. I guess because Pauls is the most Beatlesque.

Ringo-One hell of a drummer who never got the credit he deserved. His son Zak who was drumming for the Who last I knew might even be better.

I think just the name "Ringo" says it all. Cool, comical, he's Ringo. Plus I agree with mep, highly underrated.

Will certainly agree about Ringo being one heck of a drummer and comical as well!

I think for me Paul because he did more solo stuff, John was taken away too soon would have done more, although as I got older I liked John's stuff more. George did a few things that I just love I think he needed more exposure. Ringo did a couple things I really like also...

His first album, Ringo. Photograph is a great song.
