  • WORST Double Album Ever!

Going thru my collection today I unearthed an oddity I just had to play : Original Soundtrack to SGT. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, you know, the flop film from
the 70's Featuring The Bee Gees and Peter Frampton butchering your favorite Beatles songs. The recording is fair the performances are poor, I'd say its 80% crap.
Too many songs feature spoken word instead of singing. Overall it was painful to listen to and I was relieved when it ended. I have no idea how this piece o junk ended
up in my collection but there it was in mint condition, lucky me.
Magnepan 1.6 QR Loudspeakers, Amherst A-2000 MOSFET 150 WPC Amp, Conrad Johnson PV-10A Modded Tube Line & Phono Stage, Electrocompaniet MC II Class A Head Amp, Audio Technica AT-OC9XML Cart (Stereo) , Graham Engineering 2.2 Tonearm (Stereo) , VPI Aries-1 Turntable (Stereo) , VPI Clamp, Denon DL-102 Cart, (Mono) , Luxman Tonearm (Mono) , Kenwood KD-500 Turntable (Mono) , Michell Clamp, Marantz 20B Analog FM Tuner, Pioneer SACD, Onkyo DX-6800 CD Transport, DIY 24B/192K DAC, Sennheiser HD-650 Headphones, Headroom Max Balanced Headphone Amp, DIY Silver Interconnects

I would estimate my copy has been played exactly twice now.

Just remembered there was one track I kinda liked. That was Earth, Wind, and Fire's cover of "Got to get you into my Life". It had a good arrangement. But one song on a double album is a pathetic batting average.
