Neil Young Reminder Lp

Hadn't played any Lps for a couple a weeks, just been watching the boob tube. After reading so much about vinyl on AN, I had to satisfy my urge with a little Neil Young. I chose the
debut Lp (second issue, the one with his name on the cover and the second mix) on Reprise original label. The sonic result was WOW, way better than TV. Whoever engineered the audio for HDTV, it was a crime against humanity because its a far cry from the 50 year old Lp sonically. Does anyone here think HDTV broadcasts sound good? (compared to a Lp)?
