Ki-chose that CD in part for the song "I Don't Wanna Grow Up." Check that song out on your system.

BTW, the release to get is the Canadian Alert, not the American Bluenote. Wrote an article about that way back for TAS.

Allen and I heard that track out at Magicos last summer. It was magical sounding.

Alon had the album on his server but had never listened to that track. It's now a reference track for him.

I like Pope Music. They had some amazing CDs like the Lori Lieberman above and a Shostakovich I also own. Wish I purchased more...

For classical music, I generally relied on Oue/MO on RR, typically The Firebird and The Rite of Spring. Great system test discs IMO.

For world, Mickey Hart's Planet Drum, Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble: Silk Road Journey and Beyond the Horizon, both excellent world fusion music and well recorded. Wish they were on vinyl.

To round out the excellent female vocalists Myles selected, I'd add EBTG's Acoustic CD, a classic Coffee House music CD. Ok sonics, but I used that disc since day 1.

After being introduced to Misa Criolla by Alon at RMAF, I will add that CD to my list as well. Simply mesmerizing music...

Kronos Sparta -> Trinity Phono -> Trinity Pre -> CH Precision A1 -> Magico S7s

If it's that original Phillips recording from the late '80s/early '90s (?), it's also available on LP.
