    Mastering Dream With Dean

    Missed this video on Chad's YouTube page! Know this album has become a reference for many of us for both its music and sound. Chad in fact was contemplating putting this out on 15 ips tape; perhaps in the second tape series. Hard to believe am listening to music my parents listened to! Oh and if you don't have Dream With Dean, you are missing something pretty special!

      I can appreciate the virtues of the sound as a system diagnostic tool. From a musical point of view the appeal escapes me.

          Look at who is accompanying Dean! As they say, YMMV..... but when it's right, his voice melts hearts.

                  Some of us are listening to music our grandparents listened to. I would appreciate Dream With Dean on R2R.

                    I have loved Dean Martin since I was a child watching the Dean Martin Show. Have listen and sang-along with his songs many times over the decades. Not until I purchased this album did I appreciate his voice and control. Chad has produced another master piece with this pressing.

                        Interestingly, the same engineer who did the DM album also recorded the two Julie London albums he released too. Always slightly on the dry side for the day where voices swimming in reverb was the rule. How about the group backing him too! What an All-Star cast.

                                Frank got all the attention, but IMHO Dino was far better, such a silky smooth tone to his voice.

                                        Amazing isn't it ? I shock my parents on what I listen to now versus when I was 15 living at home listening to Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd.

                                        i still do listen to those aforementioned bands...
