No sweat, we all have our different tastes. I spent considerable time locking in my 2 subs over the past month and wow I am now ready for some of this stuff. I have never been keenly educated on this genre so looking for whatever recommendations might be a good first hand try. Thanks!

Cocteau Twins - Blue Bell Knoll might be a good way try this band out. If by electronica you might include Vangelis whose best known recording is the Chariots Of Fire soundtrack. He also did the Blade Runner soundtrack and a number of others. His recordings are extremely well done.

Interesting recommendation. Cocteau Twins is not electronica at all but very good music indeed!

Just read your second post. For something for your sub woofers try Rickie Lee Jones Ghostyhead's Vessel In Light. It is one release I'm glad did not come out on vinyl.

        Fluke Risotto

But this is. Probably my favorite album from them, though Computer World, Trans Europe Express, Man Machine, and Autobahn, etc. heck they're all good.

Why not start on the Ambient side of electronica and listen to Jean-Michel Jarres latest album Oxygene 3? Good music and excellent sonics.

London Grammar - If You Wait 45rpm surprising departure for label Ministry of Sound. Excellent recording and pressing

Above & Beyond - Acoustic 33rpm Double Disc The boys replaced everything but the Hammond with real instruments, recording passable

Tom Misch - Beat Tape 2 LP still sealed so I don't know yet
