    Although they charted Top 10 with previous albums, and a #1 with A Hard Day's Night in 1964, the years between 1966-1969 saw them capture the top spot. Bob Dylan scores another Top 10 with Blonde On Blonde for the 5th consecutive year. Simon & Garfunkel hold the #6 and #7 spots with Sounds of Silence and Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme. And The Beach Boys unleash the brilliant Pet Sounds to the world.

      It's funny seeing Sounds of Silence on the chart. That song was originally recorded in 1964 on the album Wednesday morning 3 am, and it totally flopped. It was remixed in 65 and in 66 hit number 1 on Billboards chart.

      I think the list is an album list, not a song list, but I could be mistaken.

        That's funny, I've never heard of #9. #10 was a psyche rock band of the 60's. they have a big cult following today, this album sells for $300 in NM cond.
