    It was no early seventies powerhouse, but it did produce many albums that became classics.

      Sorry to disagree, but I would rate it as a pretty weak year. Highlights are:

      #2 Pink Floyd - the Wall
      #13 Tom Petty - Damn the Torpedoes (my favorite of his)
      #42 Dire Straits - Communique
      #55 Rickie Lee Jones

      There are some other decent albums I have a few songs from.
      Thiel 7.2s, Manley NeoClassic 250s, Wadia 850, MIT Oracle V3 speaker cables, MIT MI-350 Oracle interconnects, Black Diamond Racing Shelves and Cones in a dedicated room with ASC Tube Traps, Room Tunes and 3 X 20 amp dedicated circuits.
