  • Checking In March 1970

Two classics in the top two spots!

The Beatles' influence was all over the Top 40 this week, joined by big hits from the Jackson 5 and Bobby Sherman. Thought of Frijid Pink lately?

Just finished reading this fascinating book. I would have voted for maybe 1967, 1969 or even 1970 from a musical standpoint but he makes a great case for 1971. So much great music and big changes in the way music is recorded, produced and the groups are managed. Three of my favorite albums were released that year - Who's Next, Sticky Fingers and Every Picture Tells a Story. Highly recommended.
